I am a proud Father, Husband, Edmontonian, and Canadian. For the last 11 years with my wife and my son, I have been a resident of Ward 12. I am a Commerce Graduate. I have achieved Post Graduation diploma in Marketing & Advertising, and also in Public Relations. I have always had a passion for serving the community since I was young. I have volunteered in the poverty-stricken clusters of New Delhi and tried to help and change the lives of those less fortunate. I have answered the call to duty in very critical situations such as floods, droughts .
I have been serving the community by participating in food drives, clothing drives and also offering my services in religious places. I have been serving Canadians as a proud Canada post employee for the last 10 years. During that time, I have always been an active advocate for change, taking the role of Shop Steward for 7 years and have been Chief Shop Steward for the last 3 years, ensuring members rights are heard. I am a firm believer of God. I believe that the service of community is the service of God. It would be a great honor to help and serve the community as a city councillor from ward 12 (Sspomitapi). I am confident that my past experience and my passion towards serving the community will bring positive changes for the betterment of our community and to encourage its growth.

"Hate has no home here"
So interesting to to meet such good-hearted people while door knocking that are not afraid to put what's in their heart to a little billboard outside their house.

Thanks to all the devotees @ Jagannath Yatra for such a wonderful experience
It is a completely different vibe to be present in the middle of highly energetic devotees and to address them. Words are not enough!

Meeting and encouraging the local business in my ward Sspomitapi
I always have supported local business as the people owning them work hard to bring the best goods/services to you bearing local expenses.

IN ALL MAJOR NEWS PAPERS
It was a fine voting day in Nov 1989 in India, Sanjay then, just a young boy minding his work day when he saw an elderly woman determined to go and vote but found it extremely difficult to be able to walk up to the booth. People passed by being busy with themselves and being ignorant of the elderly woman despite her asking for help.
Sanjay decided to take a break from his work and to physically lift the woman in
his hands and take her to the booth. People started noticing this young boy giving his 100% and started assisting him in this fine deed.
The whole thing turned into a small rally of people assisting the people and praising Sanjay for his fine role as a young leader. Press personals standing close by also took a notice and took this lovely picture that was then distributed in all major news papers at the time.
